SAP-VN mobile care 2011 is set to be the last week of July (July 24-29). Our team captain this year will be Lam Nguyen, who is also SAP-VN’s current secretary. Lam has participated in the last 2 mobile care trips and served as the logistic person for mobile care 2010. We appreciate that he has stepped up to take charge of mobile care 2011.
Location of our mission this year is to be determined. Tentative trip schedule is as follows:
· Sunday afternoon, July 24: meet with group at Saigon.
· Monday July 25: transportation to working location, check in hotel, preparation works.
· Tuesday July 25 – Friday July 29 (4 days): Patient care.
· Friday night, July 29: return to Saigon, mission ends.
If you interested in participating mobile care 2011, please reply to this email to let us know. Lam will confirm your participation and add your name to our volunteer list. If you are a first time participant and do not have any history with SAP-VN, there will be a mandatory interview with the team captain and /or other coordinators to determine if you are mobile care material and compatible with our team.
Last year over 120 volunteers signed up initially with the mission. As the size of the group grow larger, managing the group will be much harder. This year we want to limit the size of the group to about 80. We will fill the list on a first come first serve basis, so we encourage you to sign up early. We may impose a deadline to sign up later.
